Southampton, or the Saints as they are nicknamed, had 9 figures released as part of the FAPL range of Headliners.

 Their manager at the time was Graham Souness who was released in his suit and also sporting his trademark moustache. This figures is one of the rarest managers released and has traded hands for near £20.

 Saints legend Matt LeTissier was an obvious choice for release and Coritnhian used the same sculpt as the England national headliner. Due to the popularity of this figure amongst Saints fans more of him was made than any other Southampton figure and as a result he is very easily found today and can be picked up very cheaply too.

 Excentric keeper Bruce Grobbelaar was also released and like manager Souness he was also sporting a rather fetching moustache! Along with the figures of Magilton, Benali and Monkou he can be addes to your colleciton for around the £5 mark.

 Neil Shipperley and Neil Heaney were released towards the end of this range and were also produced in lesser quantities than the others and as a result they are very seldom seen for sale nowadays. either figure can fetch upwards of £15 and both a really fantastic sculpts and neither has been released again by Corinthian.

 The mullet haired Barry Venison completes this range and he is perhaps the rarets of the lot and can trade hands for close, if not over, £20. the Venison is the exact same sculpt that was released previously as part of the England national range of figures.

 A very collectable set and a few of them are still on collectors wanted lists today.
