Metz had just the 1 figure released wearing the kit used throughout the 1996/97 season. The player chosen to be made was an 'up and coming' french national called 'Robert Pires'

 This figure was one of the few headliners to have the boots painted a different colour to black. Pires was released with red boots which made this particular figure that liitle bit more unusal.

 Although initially hard to find he can be bought in todays market for about £3,well worth it for the 1st sculpt of such a top class player.
