November 2006 saw the release of Japan ProStars Series 3, which as it transpired, would be the last Japan ProStars Series. As with the previous 2 series, it consisted of 8 figures, with the players being in home and away kit. All figures were released as single blister packs and came with individually numbered certificates of authenticity.

 

The single blisters packs again had blister card design unique to each player, with the players name accross the top of the blister pack. Corinthian also produced Platinum packs for this range, however only for the figures of Stoijkovic and Savicevic, so the 4 figures in Japan J-League kits were not done as Platinum blister packs.

 

Dragan Stoijkovic was again released, he featured in Japan ProStars Series 1, however this was an brand new sculpt and a top quality sculpt it is to. It features Stoijkovic in the home and away kit of Red Star Belgrade.

 

Dejan Savicevic was another who had a new sculpt produced for this series, with him being released in his Yugoslavia national home and away kit. A fine figure and given his connection with AC Milan proved a hit with collectors.

 

Antonio Careca had been released before for Napoli, however this was an all new sculpt and a vastly improved one, much more detail. Careca was released in the brightly colourful kits of Japan J-League outift Kashiwa Reysol, where he spent 3 seasons, scoring 31 times in 60 appearances.

 

This series also saw a whole new player, with Ramon Diaz being released for Japan J-League side Yokohama Marinos. The kit of this side is superbly replicated on what is a fantastic sculpt of Diaz, for me this kit replication is up there with the best of them, the detail is incredible and very eye catching. Diaz spent just 2 seasons at Yokohama Marinos, but scored 52 times in just 75 games, a prolific record by anybody's standards.
