For the 1996/97 season, Coventry City had a further 8 figures released, although 4 of those were mere repaints of the figures previously released in the 1995/96 kit, the other 4 were all brand new sculpts.

 The 4 figures which were previously released are 'Dublin, Ogrizovic, Ndlovu and Burrows.' These figures were painted in the new season's kit, which was a mid blue and navy vertical stripe shirt, with navy shorts and mid blue trim, the shirt sponsor was still 'Peugeot.' The Ogrizovic figure had a new jersey and this time the colour was Yellow but the sculpt's for all these figures remained the same. All these 4 are rarer than the 95/96 versions and can sell for more with the Burrows fetching nearer the £10 mark.

 Of the other 4 figures that made up this set, only Salako had previously been released and then it was in the England national kit, the head sculpt was the same for both figures but Corinthian changed the body pose for the Coventry City release. A fairly rare figure and one that may cost around £5-8.

 The remainig 3 figures are all first time sculpts, all of which have never been released by Corinthian again. The sculpt of Eion Jess was very basic but an accurate one, the other 2 were far more interesting. Marques Isaias was released complete with his little goatee beard which even felt 'rough' to the touch. Completing this line up is Kevin Richardson, another who was released sporting facial hair, this time in the shape of light blonde moustache. Both Isaias and Richardson are considered very rare with Isaias selling for about £12-15 and Richardson just a little more at £15-20.

 The easiest way to get all 8 figures was to buy the 2 different 4 player packs which were both released in March 1997.
