Johnny Carson:

 1. When did you start collecting?

 I started collecting in 1997

 2. Why did you start collecting?

I saw loads of these little men in Woolies at £1 each, liked the look of them, so I bought about £20 worth then went back the next day & bought some more. The bug then bit!

 3. Which was the very first figure you purchased?

 Beppe Signori (Lazio)

 4. What is your all time favourite Corinthian figure?

Tough one this, but the Japan goalkeeper Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi in amazing "flames" jersey rates pretty highly as does the superb baseball coach figure of Katsuya Nomura (Tokyo Giants) but there have been many great figures (and a few crap ones aswell!)

 5. What is the most you have ever paid for a single figure and which figure was it?

£350 in 2002 for the master model of Eduardo Rodriguez (Real Vallodolid) at Corinthian's 2002 Aston Villa Convention Auction

 6. What is the best bargain you have ever picked up?

 Too many to mention.

 7. Which figure did you most struggle to acquire?

Giovanni Stroppa (Udinese). Waited years for it but eventually swapped a set of Italian "IP" figures for it with a guy in Japan

 8. How many figures do you have in your collection?

 Thousands !!!

 9. If Corinthian did decide to make some more figures, which player would you most like to see made?

Definitely Johnny Haynes of Fulham (1960s) ... the guy was an absolute gentleman & a true legend. If not for injury he would have captained the 1966 England team instead of Bobby Moore ... mind you, Bobby Moore did a pretty good job if I recall!

10. Do you have any comments you wish to make about my site?

Love it ... and feel quite honoured to have assisted in some small manner

 Thanks

 Johnny
