 1. When did you start collecting?

I think it may have been the summer of 1996 or possibly 1997.

  2. Why did you start collecting?

I'm a massive football fan. Sitckers, cards, pogs and then these wonderful 'big heads' came on the scene.

 3. Which was the very first figure you purchased?

I think it could well have been Stig Inge Bjørnebye. It was on the morning of an early season match,

possibly 96/97, and Liverpool were playing Blackburn I believe the team were. I picked up the Bjørnebye figure, my brother laughed and commented "he'll never play for Liverpool again". That afternoon 'the stig' himself scored.

 4. What is your all time favourite Corinthian figure?

Faustino Asprilla Newcastle home kit, for the many memories my duplicate Tino and I have shared.

pictures of these memories avaiable at

  5. What is the most you have ever paid for a single figure and which figure was it?

I think it was probably £25 for a Vinnie Jones Wimbledon home kit figure. Though I don't believe this is to be considered rare at all, it wasn't commonly found in northern areas and I also think I got caught up ina  bidding

war with another avid Vinnie fan.

 6. What is the best bargain you have ever picked up?

Tino Asprilla Newcastle home kit 50p. I went through a phase of snapping up every Tino Asprilla I could get my hands on.

 7. Which figure did you most struggle to acquire?

Heinz Harold Frentzen. I'd like to say I struggled to find a Formula 1 figure and really wnated one. I did really want one, but didn't really try too hard to get one, then one 'landed in my lap' from a generous donator

 8. How many figures do you have in your collection?

 I'd guess at around 300.

 9. If Corinthian did decide to make some more figures, which player would you most like to see made?

Michael Duberry preferably in Leeds kit or an Ian Wright in TV presenters uniform.

10. Do you have any comments you wish to make about my site?

It's a great site that I've only been made aware of in the past 10 minutes so haven't had much time to look through it yet - as I'm currently 'working' - but look forward to browsing more thoroughly in the evening.

David Peel:

I too have a website, however mine is a little bit unconventional! My website features the Faustino Asprilla Corinthian in the Newcaslte United home kit meeting many famous faces, to check it out just click on Tino below.
